Dreaming of a ceremony on the sand? Beach ceremonies in Ocean Grove have been done, and we are glad to talk through what it would take for your date. The beach is not ours to book, so approval depends on the town and its beach rules, and we can’t guarantee it in advance. Whatever is decided, our ocean-view terrace is ready as your ceremony site, with the same sea breeze and fewer grains of sand in your shoes.

Planning Your Date

A wedding at the Laingdon usually means reserving the whole building, so we book weddings well in advance. Summer weekends go first; spring, fall and weekday dates are easier to hold and are beautiful at the shore. Reach out early and we will check availability for you.

How many guests can you host?

Up to 40 guests inside the hotel, using the terrace, lobby and dining room together. More may be possible with a tent, and a beach ceremony can hold many more, subject to town approval and permitting.

Can we get married on the beach?

It has been done in Ocean Grove and may be possible for your date. It depends on town and beach approval, so we discuss it with each couple. The terrace is always available as the ceremony site.

Can our guests stay at the hotel?

Yes. The whole hotel sleeps up to 40 guests, steps from the ceremony and the beach.

How close is Asbury Park?

Right next door. The Asbury Park boardwalk is a short walk or a few minutes by car.
